Investing in One-to-one lessons is the most efficient way to learn the harmonica . It ensures rapid development of technique and provides the structure students need to take control of their playing.

Whilst being friendly and informal, at The Harmonica Barge I provide a tried and tested programme of lessons to suit your individual needs involving many aspects of playing the harmonica including: technique, listening skills and stylistic awareness.

As a music graduate and professional gigging musician, I've developed a comprehensive programme of intensive harmonica lessons.

In addition to learning classic riffs and songs, my Study pieces are aimed at developing a strong technical foundation at a difficulty level that's appropriate.

Learning the harmonica with me goes much deeper than techniques.  I use many key recordings and personally selected backing tracks to build musicality, train the ears and make the process enjoyable.

I believe effective music education should contain something for the heart as well as the head.
